Trailhead celebrates the retirements of two valuable employees with a combined 51 years of service to our members.
Janette Dobrinski retired on April 8, 2022, after working as our Accounting Specialist for almost 28 years. Janette played a crucial role in our daily operations and behind-the-scenes service to members, where she loved problem-solving and helping her co-workers. We enjoyed Janette’s attention to detail, sincerity and care of staff, her baking treats that she often shared, and were always impressed by her puzzling skills. In retirement, Janette looks forward to traveling and spending more time with her family. She also plans to enjoy her time cooking, camping, gardening, and watching her granddaughter as often as possible. Janette kicked-off her retirement by traveling to Las Vegas in April with her daughter and seeing Donny Osmond in concert.
In her parting words of wisdom, Janette states, “Start saving for your retirement now and take advantage of employers’ match for your 401k. And, mistakes are not always a bad thing, that’s how we learn!” Enjoy, Janette!
Jackie Miller, Branch Manager at our Mississippi Branch, has announced her retirement, effective May 27, 2022. Prior to becoming the Mississippi Branch Manager in 2019, Jackie served our members for nearly 20 years as a Member Service Officer in Old Town. Jackie is known and loved by countless members. She says that the thing she will miss most about Trailhead is the interaction with members: “I have helped a lot of members over the last 22+ years and I have heard a lot of their stories. I have always tried to have an empathetic ear, and put myself in their position to try and do what was best for that person at the time. I hope that I have helped them with their financial journeys and not caused any harm, even when I had to say no!”
Jackie has plans to do retirement right and shared three things she is looking forward to:
- Turning off her alarm.
- Traveling again. Jackie and her husband, James, enjoy cruising around the world. They are looking forward to being on a cruise ship again and finding new destinations to travel to.
- Jackie, AKA Nana, is most looking forward to spending as much time as she can with her grandchildren. She has six grandchildren and another one on the way, due in September. Her oldest and only granddaughter is off to college in the fall, and Jackie looks forward to attending her grandsons’ sporting events.
