Trailhead has been alerted that some members have received phishing texts and phone calls requesting sensitive banking information. We want to emphasize that Trailhead Credit Union will never contact you to ask for your personal or banking information via text message, email, or phone call.
Your security is our top priority, and we are committed to ensuring the safety of your financial information. If you receive any text messages or phone calls claiming to be from Trailhead Credit Union and asking for your banking details, please be aware that these are fraudulent attempts to obtain your information.
To safeguard your personal and financial data, please remember the following:
- Trailhead Credit Union will never request information via text, email, or phone call: We will never ask you to provide sensitive information such as account/card numbers, online banking passwords, or security codes (such as CVV, 2FA codes or PIN).
- Exercise Caution: If you receive a text or phone call that seems suspicious or requests personal information, do not respond and disconnect the call. Instead, contact Member Services immediately.
- Verify the Source: If you are unsure about the legitimacy of a text or phone call, contact Trailhead Credit Union directly using digital banking, the official contact information provided on our website, or other official channels.
- Beware of Sense of Urgency: Fraud actors will use a false sense of urgency to get you to act. If the caller is adamant that you give them the information, you should hang up and contact our member services immediately.
