Join as a Business

The simplest form of business in which one individual conducts the business. A sole proprietor does not have to register an assumed business name if their name is the same as the business.

• If using ABN, verify the registration by printing the page from the online search, or provide an original copy of the state issued name registration.
• Any Business license or sellers permit.
• 2 pieces Government issued identification for all signers: Drivers license or State ID, and Social Security card.

An unincorporated association having one or more members.

• A copy of the articles of organization and operating agreements/member control agreement that shows who are the authorized signers (managers).
• Verify that the name includes the works ‘limited liability Company’ or LLC.
• Verification of the company registration online.
• The LLC EIN.
• Any Business license or sellers permit.
• 2 pieces Government issued identification for all signers: Drivers license or State ID, and Social Security card.

A business owned by its shareholders and incorporated in accordance with state statute with the filing of Articles of Incorporation with the Secretary of State.

• Articles of incorporation with Oregon or Washington Business Registry (where it shows who are the owners). Must be file number stamped.
• Verify the registration by printing the page from the online search, or provide a copy of the state issued name registration.
• Corporate Employer Tax ID – EIN.
• Corporate resolution, stating instructions to open the account. (May need meeting minutes if changes were made to the corporate resolution.)
• Deposit in the name of the corporation.
• 2 pieces Government issued identification for all signers: Drivers license or State ID, and Social Security card.

Business made up of two or more persons who have in many cases registered with the Secretary of State and entered into a formal partnership agreement.

• If using ABN, original copy of state certificate or we verify the registration by printing the page from the online search.
• Copy of the partnership agreement where it shows who are the owners.
• Letter from partners with authorized signer information
• Partnership Employer ID number.
• Any Business license or sellers permit.
• Deposit in the name of the partnership.
• 2 pieces Government issued identification for all signers: Drivers license or State ID, and Social Security card.

A business made up of two or more persons who have registered with the Secre­tary of State) and entered into a formal partnership agreement.

• If using ABN, original copy of state certificate or we verify the registration by printing the page from the online search.
• Copy of the partnership agreement
• If authorized signers are not noted in the partnership agreement, provide a let­ter from the partners on partnership letterhead noting authorized signers.
• Partnership EIN
• 2 pieces Government issued identification for all signers: Drivers license or State ID, and Social Security card.

A business made up of two or more persons who registered with the Secretary of State as LLP.

• If using ABN, original copy of state certificate or we verify the registration by printing the page from the online search.
• Copy of the partnership agreement
• If authorized signers are not noted in the partnership agreement, provide a let­ter from the partners on partnership letterhead noting authorized signers.
• Partnership EIN
• 2 pieces Government issued identification for all signers: Drivers license or State ID, and Social Security card.
